Instagram sensation Violet Benson, and creator of popular meme account "Daddy Issues," says she has been diagnosed with different disorders growing up, and that she's proud of herself and anyone else who has suffered from any psychiatric diagnoses.

In the wake of a mental health revolution, where stars like Mariah Carey, Halsey, and Kanye West have opened up about being bipolar, Benson adds her two cents with a powerful message.

"Growing up, I've been diagnosed with anxiety, depression, dyslexia, A.D.H.D., AND borderline bipolar disorder," says the accountant-turned-influencer, who has amassed a following of over 5 million across all her platforms.

"I think all these 'disorders' made me exactly who I am today and I'm so proud of myself," she adds.

"So whoever you are with whatever baggage you're carrying, just know that it doesn't make you any less perfect or any less lovable than anyone else. You're exactly the way you're meant to be. Please don't give up on yourself, take care of yourself, believe in yourself, and love yourself. You've come so far and I'm proud of you."

Benson, whose sentiments echo those of SNL star Pete Davidson, has shared her struggles openly several times to her growing fan base, who look to her not just for laughs, but for support, understanding, and depth.

"I know it sounds cliche but when I look back, there were all these moments where I felt lost, alone, like no one understands me or would care if I was gone and I just wanted to give up... but I'm so forking happy that I didn't. Ya know? Because life isn't easy but it's beautiful and it's worth it and I love you."

Benson's message resonates especially today, when the news of Kate Spade's suicide shocked the news landscape.
