Celebrity Friendships That Set The Standard According To @CommentsByCelebs

Hollywood can paint a pretty messed up picture of friendships. Mean girls, jealousy, hatred, fake friendships—we get it. The tabloids love to bombard us with ugly stories, and we are constantly reminded of the toxicity of social media, and how it makes us feel bad about our lives.

And so, we become very careful about who we let in. But add a layer of celebrity, and you’d probably become even more careful.

Celebrities are known to keep their inner circle small, so when they advertise a friendship and show support publicly, it means something, and people pay close attention.

But probably not as close as the notoriously funny Instagram account Comments By Celebs, founded by Emma Diamond and Julie Kramer. With 24/7 surveillance on Instagram and Twitter, the account tracks the comments celebrities leave on social media, screenshots them, and posts them with witty and relevant commentary, several times per day.

No surprise here, for Friendship Day, we teamed up with CBC to provide recent screenshots of supportive celebrity female friendship commentary on social media, from one celebrity best friend to another.
